Whittaker Colyton, to sell as above his complete Flock of Southdown Ewes, comprising:— 1-SHEAR SOUTHDOWN EWES g(J M.A. SOUTHDOWN EWES. The Auctioneers have inspected the above Flock and we thoroughly recommend them to intending purchasers. They have been heavily culled and all have been passed by an Official Inspector of the Southdown Society. This Flock was founded in 1928 by purchase of Ewes from the Estate H. O. Washbourn. Since then Ewes have been bought from the Estate S. R. Lancaster, F. J. Ellis, B. Illston and Sons and H. J. Andrew. Killeymoon, Arnage, Kiwi and Matatua Sires have been extensively used since its foundation, and all Ewes will be penned in lots to suit all purchasers.
