The result is after providing £250,527 lor taxation, an increase of £4B 565, and £259, 890 for depreciation, a decrease of £24,345. The parent, company’s profit is £409,670, against £307.109 the previous year.. Preference dividend of 5 per cent absorbs £50,000, and ordinary distribution, raised from 44 per cent, to 5 per cent., requires £272,662.
