(Special) Wellington, March 7. Situation.—an anti-cyclone lies east of New Zealand and a depression in the South Tasman Sea is moving slowly south-eastwards. Forecast, to 5 p.m. Saturday: Moderate winds from a northerly quarter predominating; weather, fair to warm but with increasing cloud. Further outlook: Cloudy to overcast. The New Zealand Friends’ School, St. John’s Hill, reports as follows foi the 24 hours ending 6 p.m. yesterday. Sunshine 7 hrs. 30 min. Maximum temperature, 76 deg. Fahr. Minimum temperature 55 deg- Fahr. Time of Sunset: To-day, 6.57 p.m. Time of Sunrise; To-morrow, 6.09 a.m.
