DEATH OF PIONEER BRITISH AIRWOMAN
London, March, 3. After the birth of twin sons, the death occurred at her home in Chelsea, of Senior Commander Pauline Mary de Peauly Gower, M.8.E., pioneer British airwoman. Commander Gower during the world war was commandant of the women’s section of the Air Transport Auxiliary. She had also been a member of the board of the British Overseas Airways Corporation.
