COULD NOT NAME THEIR FISH
Recd. 11 p.m. Sydney, March 6. Three brothers who conduct a fish shop and a restaurant in Pitt Street could not pick the name of a fish they were selling in two guesses, according to an inspector who prosecuted them under the Pure Foods Act. It was labelled bream. The brothers told the inspector it was kingfish. Actually, it was shark. The prosecution was a sequel to the action of two soldiers who protested and called an inspector when served with a fish they did not as bream. The brotners were each fined £lO and costs.
