CASTLECLIFF TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD

The Castlecliff Townswomen’s Guild resumed its meetings this month after the Christmas recess. Mrs. Paul presided and welcomed those present including the speaker for the afternoon Mrs. Wilson, who gave a very interesting address on early Scottish history. Her talk was interspersed with appropriate songs by Mrs. Armstrong. Both ladies received the hearty thanks of the guild for their splendid programme. They were presented with bouquets by Mrs. Paul. The competition for the best flower

was won by Mrs. Anthony with Mrs. Taylor second. Several letters from folds in England were read, thanking the guild for parcels received. Members were reminded of the elections next month. Packing day this month is the 27th.
