FIRST EVACUEES FROM PALESTINE ARRIVE IN BRITAIN. —With Palestine liable at any moment to suffer from acts of terrorism, the British Government, decided this month to evacuate British wives and children to Britain. Picture shows the first of these evacuees to arrive at Victoria Station (London) on February 6. They travelled on the train Golden Arrow, 16 wives and 15 children, after having been stranded in Paris after arrival there by air, for three days.
