Wanganui school accommodation is in anything but faourable condition, while Palmerston North schools leave little to be desired, the Wanganui School Committees’ Association considers- At a meeting of the committee on Monday night it was considered that it was time the Education department gave the matter long overdue thought. Mr. S. Cowley presided over Messrs. E. N. O’Keefe, J. R. Ritchie, G. G. Jackson, R. E. Sutcliffe. Barry, F. ALaird, W. G. Price, J. C. Batt. A. T. Ralph, and Mrs. Gould Fennell. Schools represented by these members were Intermediate, Keith Street, Gonville, Wanganui East, Durie Hill, Queen’s Park and Aramoho. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs. G- A. Ammundsen. R. Parnell, R. O. Thomas and J. Goeffic.
