INTER-CLUB LAWN TENNIS MATCHES
C GRADE COMPETITION The following are the results of C grade matches in the Wanganui Lawn Tennis Association's inter-cluo competitions played last week-end:— Wanganui East No. 2 beat St. John's No. 1, 11 matches to 5; Wanganui East No. 1 beat Gonville, 13 matches to 3; Wanganui No. 1 beat St. John's No. 2, 11 matches to 5; Wanganui No. 2 beat Wanganui No. 3, 11 matches to 5. INTERMEDIATE REP. TEAM The following team will represent Wanganui in an intermediate (under 21) match agrfnst Manawatu at Feilding next Saturday:— Miss M. McCauhin (Minor Assns.i, Misses A. Coull and C. Taylor (Wanganui), Miss J. Hayhow (Gonville), Misses E. Bosher and U. AlcCulloch (Taihape); G. Bristol (Gonviile), J. M. Rollu (Minor Assns.), K. C. Millward, F. A. Millward, K. Mahoney and C. Cutfield (Wanganui). Emergencies: Miss B. Freeman and B. L. Dashfield (Wanganui). Any of the above who arc not available are requested to notify the association secretary, Air. T. N. HayCampbell, immediately. A practice for the city membeis of the team will be held at me ..anganui Club courts this (Tuesday) evening.
