SATURDAY'S PROGRAMME
SIX GALLOPS AND TWO TROTTING MEETINGS
Six meetings for gallopers and two for light harness horses will provide a very full racing programme this Saturday. Of particular interest to this district will be the concluding day’s sport to be offered by the F.gmont Racing Club at llawera. Other North Island gallops will be those of the Masterton and Franklin Racing Clubs. In the South Island the Dunedin Jockey Club will be concluding its two-day meeting. The Banks Peninsula Racing Club and the Reefton Jockey Club will be staging onc-day meetings. Fare for the trotting enthusiast will be offered at the second day of the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting and at the one-day meeting of the Invercargill Trotting Club.
