(P.A.) Blenheim, Jan. 30 Big fields will contest all events in the New Zealand championships rowing regatta to be held on Picton harbour on February 15. Entries have been received from the following clubs: Auckland, Avon, Awarua, Arapawa, Blenheim, Canterbury, Hamilton, Napier, Poverty Bay, Star (Petone), Picton, Wairau, North End, Wanganui, Wellington, Union (Christchurch), Union (Wanganui), Port Chalmers, West End, Otago and Queen’s Drive. The lightweight race has live starters, the champion four 16, the maiden fours 16, the single sculls 10, the welterweights 9, the championship eights 9, the junior fours 8, the champion double sculls 7, the jouths’ fours 10, the champion pairs 7, the maiden eights 6 and the Marlborough Plate 12. ARAMOHO CREWS WILL BE COMPETING Although the Aramoho Club was not listed in the Press Association message of clubs competing in the regatta, they have definitely entered crews and will be competing, the secretary of the Wanganui Rowing Association (Mr. E. J. Crotty) stated last night. After notification of intention to compete and a list of crews had been sent to the regatta, the secretary of the Aramoho Club sent down a notice of a crew alteration and a telegram advising receipt of this information has been received. This would definitely indicate that the authorities were aware Aramoho was competing and had them listed.
