John Duthie, | a former president of both the Weljlington and Hutt Bowling Clubs, as ! well as a former member of the Wanganui Club, presented the trophy for [competition between the three clubs, and in the contests down the years these games have cemented the friendly relations existing between the members of the clubs. In yesterday’s games some good bowling was seen, although in the morning games the winning margins were large. The fate of the cup hung on the last bowl of the day delivered by Wylie, the skip of one of the Wellington teams, when he succeeded in making a tie game with A. P.
