BIRD—On January 30, 1947, at Wanganui, Ellen Elizabeth, dearly beloved wife of the late David Thomas Bird, of No. 272 Victoria Avenue; aged 73 years. Private cremation. (No flowers by request).—Dempsey and Sons. Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Avenue.

COOGAN —On January 29, 1947, Michael Coogan, of Poole Street, Feilding, and beloved husband of the late Isabella Coogan (late of Bool), in his 80th year, and loved father of James Coogan. R.I.P.
