CAREER RESUMED

SINGER MILITZA KORJUS. New Zealanders who have wondered what had become of Militza Korjus, the singer who impressed in "The Great Waltz" and then suffered an accident, will be interested in news of her which has been sent from Hollywood. Following her success in "The Great Waltz,” Militza Korjus was temporarily forced into retirement by a car accident on March 25, 1940. She suffered from a fractured left leg, states a correspondent. She has now recovered and appeared as soloist at the Hollywood Bowl on August 24 of last year. Recently she completed a musical film in Mexico, which is now showing in South America. The film will probably be brought, to the United States and exhibited with English sub-titles. Miss Korjus announced recently that she and her German-born phyicisr husband. Dr. Kuno Foelsch, were divorced Iwo years ago. She has custody of I heir 14-year-old daughter, Militza.
