The banks’ net excess nf assets over liahnitics was 117.130.255. an Increase of £1.470.380. Reserve balances of the six banks totalled £60.260,022, a decrease of £3.716,928. Government securities held by the banks
amounted to 125,121.330, an increase of £1332. Other securities wore £2.211,7uG, a decrease of £19.160. Aggieyate advances on October 28 were £6;:,028.0.>J. an increase of £2,506,423. Aggregate discounts were £2OB 826 an increase of £91..>18. The aggregate uncxcrcised overdraft authorities on October 28 amounted to £45,657.922. an increase of £1,148.818. The total of advances and .discounts and unexercised overdraft authorities on October 28 was £108.894.799, compared with £95,148,040 on September 30.
