MAIN TRUNK TRAINS DELAYED BY FIRE ON VIADUCT
(P.A.) New Plymouth, Nov. 7. Delay was caused to trains on the Main Trunk to-day as the result of a fire in the Waitete viaduct, about three miles south of Te Kuiti, late last night. The express that left Wellington for Auckland at 3 p.m. on Wednesday was delayed three hours, and it did not reach Te Kuiti till 6 a.m. to-day.
