PUBLIC INTERIST IN MURDER TRIAL. There was a great deal of public interest shown in Hie trial of Neville George Heath (right), aged 29, former R.A.F. pilot, for the murder of two women. The trial opened at the Old Bailey, London, on September 24, and concluded on September 26 with tin convietion of Heath on one of the charges. The jury was absent 59 minutes. Health was sentenced to death. Picture at the left shows a queue of people of all types waiting to gain admission to the Old Bailey when the doors opened.
