WANGANUI INTEREST IN CENTURIONS
There was a keen Wanganui interest in the Centurion Rugoy football team which played against Wellington on Saturday. It contained two former Wanganui representative play, ers, both of the Kaierau Club —D. Whillans (at present one of the Wanganui Union's Selection Committee) and W. Firmin, who plays for the Oriental Club. Wellington, and has represented Wellington on numerous occasions. A try was scored by Whillans. The Cent urions were led by the All Black, C. Oliver. Wellington won by 26 to 16.
