Mr. F. J. Lenihan, former Public Works Department, engineer, has taken up an appointment as borough engineer. Upper Hutt. Before joining the Public Works Department, Mr. Lenihan was assistant borough engineer at Hamilton. Mr. W. J. Forsyth, District Public Trustee, Wangamii, has received notice of his promotion Io be District Public Trustee, Hamilton. This promotion under the Public Service reclassifications. is the first to be announced which will affect a civil servant in Wanganui. Successor to Mr. Forsyth as District Public Trustee, Wanganui, will be Mr. C. A. Hendry, at present of head office Wellington, and a brother to Mr. A. A. Hendry, supervisor for the Land and Income Tax Department in Wanganui.
