TECHNICAL COLLEGE CROSS-COUNTRY RACE
H. CUNNINGHAM UIXS SENIOR EVENT.
The annual cross-country race of the Wanganui Technical College was decided on Wednesday. There was a strong westerly wind and the weather was showery and the going very heavy. Results were: - Senior (over .16 years): A. Cunningham (Alexander House), 1; W. Anderson (Rees), 2; J. Burnett (A.), 3. The distance was about four miles. Intermediate (under 16): M. Ross (Rees>, 1; A. Howard (Alexander), 2; L. Pedersen (Alexander), 3. Distance, four miles. Junior (under 15): D. Gemmell (Alexander), 1; R. Foster (Rees), 2; K. Cronin (Alexander), 3. Distance, two miles. House points were: Alexander. 1104; Braik, 459; PjrajJ-, 574-; RTes, 720.
