CURRENT VALUES MAINTAINED <P.A.) Timaru, Oct. 4. At the first auction sale of wool held in Timaru for seven years, 5583 vales of crutchings and. oddments and a small quantity of new fleece wool were offered. All except the most inferior types met with excellent demand from the Continent and America. Prices rose to 28id for half-bred fleece. Bidding was quiet but steady at values in excess of appraisement levels. Following is the official range of prices:— Merino—
