OBITUARY
Mr. J. T. KENT
The death occurred on Thursday of Mr. J. T. Kent, a well-known and highly respected resident of Reikiorangi. Mr. Kent was for many years engaged in transport and storekeeping business at Worser Bay, and was a popular figure in the early days of the development of that seaside resort. Subsequently he acquired a farm at Reikorangi and carried on dairying for a great many years. He served on local bodies and was a stalwart worker in the development, of the activities of the Farmers’ Union. A publicspirited man of high character, he was widely respected. He is survived by his widow and four married daughters. _________
