TRAINERS PAY TRIBUTE
After the concluding event at Wanganui last Saturday a number of local and visiting trainers and owner-trainers gathered to make a presentation to Mr. W- C. Price, who is relinquishing the position of caretaker at the Wanganui racecourse. Tributes were paid to Mr. Price’s assistance and co-operation over a period of 25 years, and as a mark of the esteem in which he is held he was presented with a fireside chair.
