Ferguson Otago), Drylie Wellington), V. .Smith Canterbury), R. Hutchinson (Auckland), L. Smith (Otago), E. Ryan (Otago), A. Wilkinson (Auckland), J. Kidd (Wanganui), R. N. Smith (Canterbury); reserves, R. Singer Wellington), M. Gordon (Canterbury). This team is that chosen earlier in the season except that two players who will not be available because of injuries, Speed (left-back) and Beavis (left-half) have been replaced.
