Mr. R. Charmley, a director of the Maharahara Co-operalive Dairy Company for 26 years, has resigned from the directorate. At the time of his resignation he was chairman of directors.

The Rev. D. Rosenthal has been appointed Archdeacon of Singapore. Archdeacon Rosenthal was formerly vicar of a parish in Hongkong.
