KING COUNTRY TEAM TO PLAY TARANAKI
The King Country Rugby team to play Taranaki at Taumarunui to-day week has been announced by the selectors. No change has been made in the team that defeated Waikato on Saturday. The selection is:— Full-back: Auld (Taumarunui). Three-quart ers: Keenan (Taumarunui), Knight (Maniapoto), Kirton (Taumarunui). Five-eighths: Weir (Taumarunui), Boswell (Maniapoto). Half-back: Conrad (Taumarunui). Baek row: J. Spry (Ruapehu). Middle row: J. Marriner (Taumarunui). Wills (Taumarunui). Bryers (Taumarunui), Lynch (Ruapehu). Front row: Were (Maniapoto). Machin (Tongariro), Mitchinson (Ruapehu). Reserves: Backs. Cumpstone (ot.o--rohanga), Miller (Ot.orohanga); forwards. Thew (Maniapoto), Gray (Olorohanga). Wanganui plays King Country at Tajhapc_on September 28.
