ATOMIC BOMB’S EFFECT ON ANIMALS
Retd. 7 p.m. Bikini, July 16. Admiral Blanfly announced that of 3519 animals aboard the Burleson during; the atomic test, 2982 were still alive, but other deaths were expected over a period of three months. The deaths included ten per cent, killed outright, while deaths from radiation were at the expected rate. About 750 animals will be used in the second test.
