Cr. A. R. Donaldson has been re-ap-pointed the Wanganui City Council's Representative on the Wanganui Girls' College Board of Governors.

The superintendent of the reformatory at New Plymouth since 1940 and an ollircr of the Prisons Department since 1913, Mr. T. Stocker, will retire from the service about, the middle of next week. His successor will be Mr. J. Dow, chief warder at the Auckland Prison.
