TAWHERO GOLF CLUB
FIRST MONTHLY MEDAL ROUND,
Members of Tawhero Golf Club will play the first Monthly Medal Round on Saturday. This competition is played on the last Saturday in each month, over the next live months, in both ladies’ and men’s sections. Members should note that as the whole five rounds are to count for the aggregate score, it is essential to get in the full series of games in this competition.
A very large field participated in the second round of the Peters and Larsen Cups on Saturday. Weather conditions were good, but the lairways and. greens were slow after the recent heavy rain, and players generally found the going tougher than in the previous round, and scores were not so impressive. Best cards handed in were:—
