CORONATION MEDAL SCORES (P A.) Christchurch, May 80. The New Zealand Ladies’ Goli Union home Jinks Coronation Medal competition, for players with handicaps not. more than 18. played for the first time since 1942 by members of affiliated clubs throughout the Dominion, was won by Mrs. R. F. Hutchinson (Poverty Bay). Her score, 82, 14—68, was five strokes under the scratch score of the course. The next best scores were:—Mrs. J. G. Johnston (Hagley) 86. 17—69, three under; Miss M. Bird (Hamilton) 83. 13—70. Miss Gibbs IPaeroa) 77, 9—68, and Mrs. S. Keys (Remuera) 81, 12—69. all two under. The competition for the Aotearoa Cup, played in conjunction but. open to players of anv handicao, was won by Mrs. E. K. Alexander (Levin), whose card of 92. 30—62 was ten strokes below the scratch score. Other good scores were: Miss E N. Howie (Morrinsvillp) 91. 26—65 and Mrs. I. W. Campbell (Gore) 91. 26—65. both six under: Mrs. Lye (New Plymouth) 94. 25—69. Mrs. R. D. Authrreau iTitiranvi) 94. 26 68. Mrs. A. Beange (Hamilton) 101. 32—69 and Miss G. McWhirter (Waimairi Beach). 89, 19 —7O. all five under.
