NEW CHIEF SCOUT FOR N.Z.
LIUET.-GENERAL SIR BERNARD FREYBERG. Word has been received in New Zealand from the Chief Scout for the British Commonwealth and Empire (Lord Row-Allan) that the Governor-Gene, ral designate of the Dominion (Lieut.General Sir Bernard Freyberg) had been invested in London as Chief S.cout for New Zealand. Lord Rowallan carried out the investiture. A statement to this effect was made by the Dominion Chief Commissioner, Mr. Hector Christie, Wanganui.
