CLEARING SALE
LEVIN AND CO.’S REPORT Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., report on the clearing sale held on Wednesday on behalf of the Estate T. R. Willis, Greatford, as under:— A large attendance of buyers from Wanganui, Wairarapa, Manawatu. Hawke's Bay and surrounding districts wore in attendance and we report a highly satisfactory sale for both live and dead stock. Following are quotations of some of the major lines: 4-year ewes, 235; 4 and 5-yuar ewes, J 8s; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, L’.'l 9d to 26s 3d; 2-tooth ewes, lo .33s 6d; small woolly b.f. lambs, 14s 9d: mixed aged Southdown rams, 3' to 4 guineas.
