WORLD MEAT SURPLUS
FORECAST IN FEW YEARS’ TIME London. March 6. Mr. Joseph E. .Swain. Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers, who is visiting the provinces before leaving on a goodwill mission to Australia, New Zealand, South America, the United States, and Canada, forecast a world meat surplus in a few years. “I am full of optimism for the future.’’ he said. “People deserve cheering up, and I am glad to do it.”
