NORTH WANGANUI BOBBY CALF POOL. ANNUAL MEETING. r J’HE Annual Meeting of the above Pool will be held in the Brunswick Hall on TUESDAY, March 12, at 8 p.m. Business: Annual Report and Balance-sheet. Elect Ward Member for Kai Iwi district, and TayforthCastlecliff district. In response to numerous requests to again this year show a film, we are I pleased to be able to say that we have secured what we think is a very suitable film to screen in conjunction' with our Bobby Calf Pool Annual Meeting. The title of the film is “One Hundred Crowded Years.” It will take about one hour to screen, and shows the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, the first shipment of emigrants leaving England for New Zealand, the starting up of the first settlement of New Zealand, and the early history of the country. It also shows parts of the Maori War and deals with the life of the native population of N.Z., and is complete from the first settlement to the centennial; in fact it can be truly said it is a wonderfully-produced picture which every New Zealhnder should take the opportunity of seeing. It is naturally suitable for mixed audiences. and we extend an invitation to everybodv to come and see this wonderful film, which is not only educational. but interesting. We feel sure it will be viewed by those who see it with great pride in the progress of our own Country. A. E. WINTER. Chairman. L. C. D’ATH. Secretary.
