PIGEON FLYING
The Wanganui Pigeon Flying Club held a flock race from Taumarunui and an interval race from Levin during the week-end. Results were:— Flock Race: F. McPherson’s entry, 950yds. per minute, 1; W. J. McClintock’s entry, 947 y.p.m., 2; L. Edmonds' entry, 946 y.p.m., 3. Interval Race: W. Packer’s entry, 990 y.p.m., 1; F. McPnerson’s entry, 983 y.p.m., 2; W. J. McClintock’entry, 972 y.p.m., 3. To-day the club will hamper for a flock race from Pukerua Bay and an interval race from Taumarunui.
