FIRST PLANE SOON FOR AERO CLUB
First of the four Tiger Moth planes allocated the Wanganui Aero Club is expected to be ready for delivery in 10 days or a fortnight, and club flying will be resumed as soon as the plane is brought to Wanganui. Applications for the position of pilot-instructor to the club close on March 14, and the committee will make a selection as soon after that date as possible. Meanwhile club pilots who held A licences prior war have been advised to renew them so that they will be able to fly as soon as the first plane arrives. Renewal involves a medical examination and other formalities. Indications so far arc that the club will have a good membership when fly.ng activities are fully resumed.
