BOMB EXPLOSION IN CAIRNS
l.\ H HIES TO SIX PERSONS Iterd. Id p.m. Brisbane, Jan. 15. Six persons, including two women, were injured when a bomb or handgrenade exploded on the back verandah of a house in Cairns last night. The injuries consist of fractures and lacerations. The police believe that the bomb was deliberately thrown at three of the victims.
