MEN BY ATHLONE CASTLE RANGITATA DRAFT TO-MORROW With returning Navy, Army and Air Force personnel who have served overseas in various theatres of war, two ships are due at Wellington today. They are the Athlone Castle, scheduled to berth at 8.30 a.m,, and the Rangitata, expected at eight o'clock to-night. Wanganui and Taranaki men disembarking from the Athlone Castle will travel home by the WellingtonNew Fyii.outh express to-day. They ar.* aue to arrive at Aramoho at 3.32 p.m. and the city station at 3.53 p.m. Because of the Rangitata arriving later, however, Wanganui and Taranaki men will remain on board overnight. After disembarkation they will travel home by the Wellington-New Plymouth express to-morrow. This special will depart from the wharf at 1.20 p.m. Civilian passengers will disembark between 10.45 and 12.30, passing through the Customs before leaving the wharf. To assist them in onward movement, extra carriages are being provided on the troop train to Auckland and accommodation has been reserved on the daylight sailing of the Lyttelton ferry on Friday. The Rangitata is expected at 8 p.m. and all personnel excepting those for the South Island, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay and Taranaki will start on the homeward move that night. South Island men. via Lyttelton, travel by the daylight terry on Friday, and the Nelson-Marlborough parties travel by the Picton ferry. Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay men leave by the Gisborne express at 9.40 a.m. on Friday and Taranaki men will go by the New Plymouth express at 10.15 a.m. on Friday.
