NEHRU WANTS INDIAN FEDERATION
Reed. 12.10 a.m. Bombay, Jan. 7. Nehru, in a speech, voiced disapproval of the Pakistan. “I want a federation of India. Burma, Malaya, Ceylon, Persia and Afghanistan,” he said. “The Pakistan cannot come even if the British and the Moslem League agree thereto. Hindus and Sikhs will oppose it. The communal problem will dissolve itself when the British leave India.”
