AT BETHLEHEM
THOUSANDS CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF CHRIST Recd. 8 p.m. London, Dec. 25. Thousands of visitors have arrived at Bethlehem for the celebration of the birthday of Christ, says the Associated Press correspondent. Services have been arranged in St. Catherine’s, adjoining the Church of Nativity. Masses Mere read in the Grotto of Nativity hourly after noon. Yesterday a procession left Jerusalem for Bethlehem. The miracle of the birth of Christ was re-enacted at midnight.
