GREEK RESISTANCE MOVEMENT
MAKES DEMANDS ON GOVERNMENT Athens, Dec. 23. The Communist leader, Giorgios Siantos, at a meeting of 70,000 members of the resistance forces, urged that the British should manage their own affairs. The meeting demanded: — (1) Complete amnesty for everyone detained for offences committed during the occupation and during the civil strife. (2) State recognition of the resistance movement. (3) Active participation of resistance representatives in the Government.
