U.S. STOPS ASSISTING CHINESE TROOPS
Washington Dec. 23. While General Marshall (United States .Ambassador) has the final decision the United States has for the present, stopped assisting the movement of Nationalist troops from south China to north China. Meanwhile the Chungking central news agency has reported that the United States 7th. Fleet has transported central Government troops from Haiphong to Hulutao. The United States State Department has pointed out that General Wedemeyer is still empowered to authorise such a movement.
