NEW MAGISTRATE
MAJOR L G. SINCLAIR (P.A.) Wellington, Dec. 2b. The appointment to the magistracy of Major L. G. H. Sinclair, barristei und solicitor, Palmerston North, was announced to-day by the Minister of Justice. Mr. Mason. Major Sinclair, who will fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. S. I. Goodall, will take up duty as magistrate at Auckland early in the new year. Major Sinclair, for 12 years before being mobilised for military service m 1942. was in practice at Palmerston North. Since January, 1944, he has been in lhe service of the Western Pacific High Commission.
