WANGANUI OWNER LOSES TROTTER
Mr. 11. S. Harman, a Wanganui trotting enthusiast and a member of the Wanganui Trotting Cluu has received advice that Netherby, which hr> carried his colours with success in several trotting events, was involved in an accident at Christchurch and had to be destroyed. It was particularly unfortunate for Mr. Harman as Nel herby, who \vas a winner in a saddle event in the spring, promised to win still further stakes in the near future. Mr. Harman, it is understood, recently refused an offer in the vicinity of four figures for the Gaillard gelding.
