NEARLY UP TO 2000
MEMBERSHIP OF WANGANUI R.S.A.
"We want only 14 members to bring the total membership of the association to 2000,” said the secretary of the Wanganui Returned Services Association (Mr. E. Barnett) last night.
He said that he hoped that the 2000 mark would be passed before mid-day Saturday, when the office would close for three weeks for the Christmas and New Year vacation. The majority of members are former servicemen of World War 11.
