COXON WINS FINAL OF FOURS Rowing a well-judged race, R. Coxon’s crew won the final of the Union Boat Club Fours decided last night over a mile course. He beat Church’s crew by a canvas. Coates’ crew was a length further back The crews in the final were: — R. Coxon (str.), C. Drummond, G. Jones, J. Wood; Eugene Crotty (cox). M. Church (str.), B. Jones, A. Paul, C. Marchant; E. Poole (cox). J. Coates (str.), B. Dunstone, J. Williams; Earl Crotty (cox).
In the semi-final, Coates beat Crutchiey, Coxon beat Tasker, and Buller, and Church beat Granville.
