EXCELLENT MIDSUMMER ENTRIES

Excellent nominations have been re- ! ceived by the Taranaki Jockey Club for the ’midsummer meeting, to be held on Boxing Dav (December 26.' and the following day, there being a substantial advance on the numbers entered for the last occasion on which a two-day meeting was held, in 1941. Generous support is being accorded by Waikato and Auckland stables 54 horses from these districts having been I entered.
