Railway Seat Reservations ADVANCE BOOKING PERIOD EXTENDED Applications for reserved seats and sleeping berths for journeys on or before 12th January, 1946, will be accepted at allotting stations up to one calendar month ahead of travel date, and at non-allotting stations up to one calendar month and two days ahead of travel date. Applications for reservations for return within one month of the commencing date of the outward journey, may be lodged at the time application for the outward journey is made. For journeys to be made on or after January 13th the shorter period for advance reservations (respectively. 7 davs and 9 days) will be reverted to. CANCEL UNREQUIRED RESERVATIONS EARLY
