NEW FRENCH MINISTER
<P : A ’' Auckland. Nov. 22 Assuming his first Ministerial appointment in the French diplomatic service, M.. F. A. A. Gazel, accompanied by Mme. Gazel and their 21-year-old son, M. J. Gazel, arrived in Auckland as the first Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Fi ance in New Zealand. The party travelled by R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft from New Caledonia, mid will continue tomorrow to Wellington, where thev will make their home.
