CADETS AND A.T.C. ON PARADE
With heads erect and marching with crisp military precision, personnel of the Wanganui Technical College Cadet Company and Air Training Corps unit, accompanied by the school brass band and pipe band, paraded ye terday afternoon. The line of route was down Victoria Avenue, along Ridgway Street and up Drew’s Avenue. After a halt In Drew's Avenue a march past was held in front of the Sarjeant Gallery, the salute being taken by LieutenantColonel J. W. Barry. N.Z.S.C. area commander, and Lieutenant-Colonel S. H. Gould, Officer Commanding the First Battalion Wellington West Coast Regiment. The music for the march past was played by the school brass band. The march past was impressive, and the playing of the school bands evoked very favourable comment.
